Learning kanji the easy way - on Iphone #Tip 2

Sometimes I want to read some Japanese articles or website content etc on my mobile but I do not understand what a particular kanji sounds like, I activate the ‘Speech’ or the ‘speak selection’ like this :

1. On my iPhone I Go to ‘settings’ - ‘general’ - ‘accessibility‘ and Select ‘speech‘

2. From here I select the speak option for anything that I highlight on screen to be read loudly by the voice activated from iPhone:

3. I then highlight the text on the screen and select ‘speak’ and it automatically starts reading the Japanese text.

This helps me understand how the Kanji is read and sounds like. Slowly develops the reading practice with a little help from the technology available.
